Excellence in Environmental Engineering and Science Education (E4) Award Nomination

Please take a moment to read AEESP's Conflict of Interest Policy to ensure nominators and/or nominees do not pose a conflict of interest prior to submitting nominations.

When to apply:

Nominations open November 1, 2023 and will close January 31, 2024.

Complete nomination package includes:

  1. Brief cover letter (one-page max.) from the nominator.  The letter should contain a short citation, which summarizes the essence of the individual's contribution.  The citation is limited to 150 characters including punctuation and spacing,
  2. Brief curriculum vitae (4-page maximum) for the nominee following eRA/NIH/NSF format,
  3. Documentation related directly to the award criteria consisting of no more than 30 pages,
  4. *One (minimum) to five (maximum) letters of recommendation from current or past students,
  5. *One (minimum) to three (maximum) letters of recommendation from faculty, administrator, or industry peers.

    *For items 4 and 5, each letter should be limited to no more than two pages with a minimum of 11-point font size of Times New Roman, Calibri, or Arial.

Past nominations will be carried over and considered for three years and can be modified during the current nomination period.
