Tips to write a successful application to host a lecturer.
The deadline to submit an application to host the 2026-2027 Lecturer is Friday, July 17. Applications received after this date are subject to the approval of Lecturers Committee Chair Rob Nerenberg (nerenberg.1@nd.edu), or may be considered for future DLS speakers. Please contact Dr. Nerenberg for updates regarding the status of the review process.
Expenses: Please note that all expenses associated with the lecture tour are paid by the AEESP Foundation and host schools must agree to pay a flat fee of $1,500 (U.S. and Canadian schools) or $2,500 (outside of North America) to the Foundation in order to be placed on the lecture schedule. Failure to pay the lecture fee will preclude your institution from further participation as a host school until any outstanding invoices are paid. School host fees in future years are subject to adjustment.
